The CFP Professional Competency Profile provides a listing of the competencies to be tested on the CFP Examination, and the technical knowledge required to demonstrate those competencies. The CFP Examination Blueprint provides important information on how the various components of the CFP Professional Competency Profile will be weighted on the actual CFP Examination.
Please consult our Study Centre for assistance in preparing for the CFP Examination. This includes resources on tutors and other study help. Premium content in this section can only be accessed by joining our Student Associate Program.
Also, we have provided a downloadable reprint below of the Financial Formulae sheet which will be provided on the actual CFP Examination. Please note, however, that the list of formulae provided is not all-inclusive, and other formulae may be needed when writing the CFP Examination.
On the day of your exam, please arrive prepared. Consult the Guide to CFP Examination for more details.
Once you have successfully completed your exam, you can proceed to Step 4: Earning CFP® Certification.
