Grant Henri, CFP

CFP, RBC Dominion Securities

My name is Grant and I currently work with RBC Dominion Securities in downtown Toronto in a group of tax, legal, estate and financial planning professionals who provide support to the Financial Planners, Private Bankers and Investment Advisors working with RBC Financial Group's affluent and high net worth client segments.

Over the last 19 years, I have worked in a wide range of financial services roles involving both direct client contact and management roles in trust services, financial planning, investment management and business development. I am licensed for dealing with securities and insurance in the province of Ontario, and to provide financial planning services in the province of Quebec.

Apart from the fact that financial planning is a growing business with lots of opportunity for those involved, the profession offers a unique opportunity to change and improve people's lives, which can be very gratifying. Also, for those working directly with clients, the profession allows you to establish yourself in a career role, and to enjoy the personal benefits and satisfaction that come with a long term commitment to your job.

I would be happy to offer you my personal perspective on the profession and the CFP designation. E-mail your question and I'll respond as soon as I can.
