North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) is the oldest international organization devoted to investor protection. It is a voluntary association whose membership consists of 66 state, provincial and territorial securities administrators in the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico. It conducts its affairs through project groups organized into five sections in the areas of: broker-dealer and investment advisor regulation; state, provincial and territorial enforcement; corporate finance; and administration.
