FPSB Policy on Cross Border Use of the CFP Marks

Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC) is a member of the advisory council of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), a council made up of affiliate organizations that administer or seek to administer the CFP certification program in their respective countries. To benefit and protect the public, FPSB regulates how CFP professionals use FPSB’s CFP, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER and CFP logo marks outside the borders of the country or region in which they first received CFP certification.
